Russell Holder, PA-C, specializes in family medicine. His professional areas of interest include health maintenance, pediatrics, asthma, mental health, weight loss and type 2 diabetes.
Russell’s love for science, the human body and helping others is what inspired him to pursue a career in medicine. “I love seeing people of all ages and helping them through the many different stages of life and health, from young kids to elderly,” he said. “I enjoy forming relationships with patients and families and building that relationship and trust over many years to help benefit the health of the patient.”
When it comes to his patients, Russell’s care goes beyond the office walls. “I love to hear about what patients have going on in their lives whether that be family or work news, vacation plans, school or sports updates,” he said.
Russell said he likes to build relationships with his patients by, “…being honest, relaxed, hopefully funny and giving the person a share of the decision-making process to help take control of their own health.” He understands that everyone has different health goals and priorities. No matter if they are short or long-term, he wants to help each person achieve their goals and live the most healthy and happy life possible.
Russell’s education includes:
• Master’s degree in physician assistant (PA) studies at the University of Oklahoma (OU-Tulsa), 2022
• Bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences at Oklahoma State University (OSU), 2019
Outside of working at the clinic, Russell enjoys playing tennis, watching Oklahoma State college sports and spending time with his wife and family.

Absolutely love Russell and the staff. I switched to him from Utica Park clinic midtown. 1 because he was closer 2 because the clinic in Tulsa was taking month to get appointments. Russell has listen to me and has done an amazing job with all that is wrong. I recommend him or Dr. Valintine to everyonE. Because of my health I typically see him at least twice a month. If you find yourself looking for a good Dr. that listens and cares this office definitely does just that.

I had an appointment with Russell Holder of Utica Park Clinic in Muskogee and will highly recommended him. I found him to be very helpful and took plenty of time to listen and address all of my needs and concerns. His prompt follow up and plan of action for me was both professional and personal. I plan to continue to see him for my future health concerns.

Dr.Holder Is a Great Doctor. PA I love the way he takes his time with you and doesn’t rush you in and out! Tha Muskogee office is a very nice place and very nice nurses and nurses assistance
