Diabetes Basics

Our Certified Diabetes Educator can help you understand what a new Diabetes diagnosis means and can also provide a refresher to previous education if needed.

This class will focus on the basics of diabetes and diabetic self-care.

Hillcrest South - Joint Education Class

The Joint Education Class allows patients with upcoming total hip or total knee replacements to feel informed and empowered heading into their surgery.

The class will review the continuum of care from preoperative planning through return to home. Ideally, patients would attend the Joint Education Class a month prior to their surgery date. The class lasts approximately 1 hour and is offered at the Utica Park Clinic Wellness Point located in the Medical Office Building on the Hillcrest Hospital South Campus.

This class is ONLY for patients who are scheduled for joint replacement surgery with UPC Orthopedic providers.

Join our Licensed Dietitian to learn about the unique nutritional changes needed to support and maintain healthy weight loss in patients using a GLP-1 weight loss medication.

This class is specifically for those taking a GLP-1 medication for weight loss. (Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, etc). This class is not intended for those not taking GLP-1 medications.
